Le Duc is located on the borders of the Lot, Dordogne and the Corrèze, which has a wonderful variety of surrounding countryside that is ideal for exploring by car, by bicycle or on foot. The area is famous for historic villages with Collonges-la-Rouge, Turenne, and Martel being only ten minutes drive away, whilst the medieval towns of Rocamadour, Sarlat, Domme and the prehistoric caves of Lascaux are just a little further. The villages of Les Quatres Routes (two kilometres) and Meyssac (six kilometres) have well stocked small supermarkets as well as butchers, bakers, pharmacies, hairdressers, cafés and bars.
